This summer camp is centered around protecting yourself from the sun, with hands-on, creative building activities and experiments to engage learners. They feature suggestions for hands-on activities, outdoor play, and social-emotional learning. Activities ensure quality content that helps children gain knowledge and prepare to move forward in school. Children who attend camp will also attend chapel twice a week, music once a week, and have a weekly Snapology class. All campers will be offered breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30am-5:30pm.

Get ready for a camping adventure! Campers will discover the simple joys found only in the great outdoors. Whether it’s identifying animal tracks, telling stories around the campfire, or learning survival skills, your child will be wanting s’more adventures after this interactive camp! Have your camper attend FUMC's Vacation Bible School and allow VMCC to handle all of the details. We will travel as a group together through all of the stations. In the afternoons, we will reflect what we did in the morning and do more VBS projects. During this week, we will not have chapel or music class. We will still have Snapology. We don't have activities that can really help kids fly, shapeshift, or even climb tall buildings, but all of these activities play nicely with classic superhero themes.
