2024 “Taco ‘bout a Fundraiser”
Vinson Morris Children's Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, recently hosted an event to support its mission of providing early childhood and pre-kindergarten education. Dubbed "Taco 'bout a Fundraiser," the event featured a taco dinner and various activities to contribute to a noble cause.
Guests enjoyed a spread that included crispy tacos, tamales, rice, beans, and chips with queso. The purpose of the event was to establish a scholarship fund to help families in need access quality early education. Attendees enthusiastically supported this goal.
The event offered activities for everyone. Children participated in craft activities, and there was a pinata contest that engaged both kids and adults. A silent auction and live auction raised funds for education.
At the heart of the event were the tacos, symbolizing community and generosity. "Taco 'bout a Fundraiser" strengthened bonds within the community and highlighted the power of coming together for a common cause.
